The theme ‘Celebrating Diversity and Languages’ will take the mantle at this year’s interactive awareness day at York St. John University’s (YSJ) Business School on May 10th.
Throughout the event, which starts at 9:30, attendees will have the chance to engage with topical issues around diversity and equality in the workplace. Attendees will also have the chance to discuss, challenge and debate issues in a number of workshops, covering; Danger for diversity and business ethics; mental health in the workplace; gender identity and languages, language and culture.
Guest speakers from the YSJ’s Business School will be on hand for informative talks, as well as, the University’s Chaplain and a Senior Occupational Therapist from York House. The event will begin at the Fountains Lecture Theatre, located on the York St. John University Campus on Lord Mayors Walk, before moving to the Temple Hall for lunch and the afternoon workshops.
